It isn’t every day that the news cameras roll into the warehouse, but recently, we had the incredible honour of being featured on Channel Nine News.
The segment shone a light on the very real hardships currently facing our Western Australian community. With the cost of living rising, many families are doing it tough, and Channel Nine beautifully captured the heart of how The Pantry WA steps in to bridge the gap—especially during the high-pressure Christmas season.
"Best of the West"
A major highlight of the feature was the presentation of the $5,000 "Best of the West" grant, thanks to the wonderful team at Tyrepower & Channel Nine. These funds will be instrumental in the purchase of a new delivery vehicle which will help us to kick-start The Hope Project, providing the wheels needed to take our mission mobile and reach those who can't get to us.
Sharing Our Story
To see our mission broadcast across WA on prime-time TV was a moment of immense pride for our entire team. It’s not just about the recognition; it’s about the opportunity to tell the story of the people we serve and the incredible community that supports us.
