It’s not every day that a birthday celebration becomes a moment of community impact, but that’s exactly what happened at Nigel Harrison’s 60th!
When you’re hitting a milestone like the big six-zero, the question often comes up: what do you get the man who has everything he needs? For local business owner Nigel, the answer was simple. He didn't want another tie or a new gadget; he wanted to see his celebration make a real difference for those doing it tough.
A Gift That Keeps On Giving
Nigel made a special request to his friends for his 60th: "No presents for me, please—let’s stock the shelves at The Pantry WA instead." The response was absolutely incredible! Nigel’s guests showed up in force, trading traditional birthday gifts for bags & boxes of non-perishable goods creating a mountain of supplies that will soon be feeding families across our community.
